Broken Wings – Still Fly

You are meant to be successful. Even if you do not see potential in yourself, you are still meant to be successful.

Even with broken wings, you are still meant to fly.

Just because of your broken wing doesn’t mean you weren’t born to fly.

Many people do not realize their own self potential. They limit themselves by trying to go by what they see.  And many of them are struggling to visualize which direction is the right one. Every one of us has days when we are unsure of ourselves, doubt ourselves, and make irrational decisions based of our perception of our self. But in order to accomplish our goals and dreams we have to push through the insecurities and push past any hurt and tears. Things are not always going to be easy.

The writer wrote, “as I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” He acknowledges that there are going to be times where it feels like you are surrounded by death. Death of marriage, death of job, death in many areas. But he also mentions that they are just shadows. Illusions. We have nothing to fear because God is right there with us. In our darkest moments, God is always there.

One thing that I want to leave with you is many people believe that they can’t fly. They have given up hope of flying because their wings have been clipped by life. But what they don’t realize is that that may be hurting but God can heal. He wants you to live a fulfilled life and prosper. He wants to heal and make you whole.

So just remember

You are meant to be successful. Even if you do not see potential in yourself, you are still meant to be successful.

Even with broken wings, you are still meant to fly.

Just because of your broken wing doesn’t mean you weren’t born to fly.

The journey to success is not easy. But by perseverance and determination, you can make it. The hard times are small bumps in the roads and does not compare to the level of success you will reach.

Keep focus. Continue to push. You are so close! Don’t give up!

Life Lessons That I Learned Playing Basketball

Basketball teaches us a lot of life lessons. How to be goal oriented. How to overcome opponents (obstacles) who stand in the way of our goal. As long as there’s time on the clock, you can win.#stayfocus #clearmindset #winthegame

It’s not so much about playing the game against others, but the game of life. Each day we have to push to make our todays better than our yesterdays. Every day we have to have the mindset that no matter what I will make it. Some days will be harder than others, just as some teams are more challenging to play than others. But we can overcome the challenges. We can make it. It’s time for us to stop accepting mediocrity as the norm. We have to rise to success so the future generation can have someone or a group of people to aspire to be like.

Everyone who played ball wanted to be like Mike back in the 90s.Why? Because he set the standard so ridiculously high, we all wanted to learn from the best. Who are the kids of this generation role models? We have to set the standard high and teach our kids that it’s reachable and doable. The most effective way for us to teach our kids is to demonstrate it. So I challenge all of us to raise the standard each day!

Each day we need to realize that we each share a part of an important piece to the puzzle. A point guard can’t win the game by his or herself. They need a team of people who will share in the struggle to win. We are all connected and need each other to make it through. So by encouraging you to succeed and grow into the better you, I am in turn helping myself by creating a healthy environment to live in.

So today, work on finding you a team to help you through your struggles. It is easier to go through life with a person or people who can relate and help.

I’m already on your team.

Are you ready to get this win?

Let’s go!

“If you can dream it, you can achieve it” – Zig Ziglar

“If you can dream it, you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.” –Zig Ziglar

Zig Ziglar realized what most people fail to realize. In helping others reach their goals, you in return will achieve yours and so much more!

How come back in our childhood days everyone helped each other out, no strings attached? If you needed sugar, you just ran next door to borrow some from your neighbor. If they needed something, it was just the norm to help a person out. Even if they didn’t have much, they always had a little extra to share.

Abundance mentality.

But now a days, people have become focused on themselves. Only focusing on what they don’t have and the scarcity of their resources. Back in the days they didn’t have much either but they trusted God to provide. They knew that somehow they were going to make it, even if they had to take it day by day. Some people’s mindset is set on self so they feel that they must guard the little bit that they do have.

Deprived Mentality.

Most people want to focus on themselves and their situation when in fact, according to Zig Ziglar, that is incorrect.

If you want to succeed in life, or in your business, help someone else out. Why?

Because people usually do not reach levels of success by themselves. The saying “it takes a village to raise a child,” also applies in the journey of success. YOU CANNOT DO IT ON YOUR OWN. It takes people, mentors, family, friends, coworkers, people you’ve helped in the past to help you reach that next level of success.

So my question to you is, who have you helped this month reach their goals? Have you assisted someone in accomplishing their dream or goal? This will have a direct effect on your level of success.

So my challenge to you is to assist someone in building up their dream, and watch how YOU also reap the benefits. By helping others reach their dreams you will create a support team who can help you when you are pushing towards your dreams.

Encourage someone today. Take the time to hear what they aspire to be. Assist them in any way that you can. Show someone some old school love.

Inspiration – A Seed

Sometimes, inspiration doesn’t come from words.

I can use metaphors and poetic words that stir up the soul all day, trying to motivate the world to rise to their destiny.

I can use words spoken by powerful and influential leaders to give credibility to the success one can achieve by following their dreams.

I can even display photographs of beautiful and inspiring images to trigger your senses and bring a warm feeling to your heart.

However, by itself, these things may not be able to motivate others to believe in their dreams.

Sometimes, inspiration comes from someone taking bold and out the box action.

When a person stands up for something they know is right, it inspires others to stand with them. When a person takes a strong and courageous step of action knowing that the mass may laugh, ridicule, and humiliate him/her, but stands boldly in spite of, it makes a huge statement.

When you act based on your morals, standards, and values, it attracts people more so than what you speak or write. Remember your actions speak louder than words.

So use your actions to inspire.

I invite you to leave a comment and fill in your e-mail so you can be notified of future posts. We are in this world together and we should work united to make this world a better place.

Thank you!

My “Why” is my Daughter

Over the past few days I have been researching different business opportunities and how to make a profit online. I begin to notice a pattern with each website I visited. They all began with asking their visitors to their website, “What is your WHY?”

Why do you want to be successful?

So I stopped what I was doing, took out a sheet a paper and answered the question. This is what I wrote.

My Why for blogging, making money online, etc.

  1. Be able to help people when they need it
  2. Financially independent and debt free
  3. Travel and experience different cultures
  4. Retire my parents
  5. Be an inspiration and positive role model to my daughter

As I wrote the last sentence, so many thoughts and emotions ran through me. I want to give my child the best life she can ever have. I want her to learn how to work money instead of having to work for it. I want to teach her, by setting the example, the laws of success. I want her to fall so deeply in love with God that she never doubts His Words. These are the things I want for my daughter.

However, in order to teach, I have to learn. And in order to learn, I have to be willing to be taught. I’m learning now how to reach a higher level of success. The things I share with you are things that I put into practice every day. Each day I challenge myself to do something better than yesterday, which will also better my tomorrow. Every day I am reconditioning my mind to success by reading positive self-help books and blogs, studying ways to make money online, and listening to my mentors.

I challenge you to write down your WHY and take a look at it every day. So when things get really tough on your journey of life (because life can be tough sometimes) keep your focus on God always and your WHY.

Out of all of my reasons listed above, my daughter motivates me the most. She is what motivates me when I really don’t feel like writing. She motivates me when I feel defeated because I failed at something new. I cannot just fall and not get up. I have to continue. Have to push past the feelings I feel. Keep fighting.

Know that your life is about to change. You are so close to your breakthrough so DON’T. GIVE. UP.
